I Will Never Bend A Knee

It seems as though Trump and MAGA are consolidating power rather quickly without much resistance. I supposed it was inevitable that this would happen eventually in our nation’s history.

This leaves me wondering what my fate is. I’ve decided that no matter what I’m not going to shut up about Trump. I’ve been a loudmouth crank my entire life, what’s the point of stopping now — I can’t change who I am.

It’s pretty wild how this go round everyone is just shrugging and not even thinking of giving fascist MAGA even the most perfunctory of resistance. The powers are just going to bend a knee to fucking Trump and that will be that.

I really need to get back to working on something creative while we slip into autocracy. I guess I’ll just fucking be a man in a high castle or something and watch as the United States turns into a dystopian hellscape.

Trump’s Coming ‘Deep State’

What Trump wants his own Deep State that will be there for decades to come, no matter what. And, for the time being, it definitely seems as though he’s going to get it.

It seems as though this is it — the United States is going to become Trumplandia. That is going to suck. Big time. But I just don’t see Blues having it within them to fight back.

The future seems really dark. I still want to leave the country as fast as possible. But, for a number of very concrete reasons, that is just not feasible. It is going to be a few more years — if ever — before I can flee the country the way I want to.

I guess I just have to get ready to end up in a camp, huh.

‘FOR NOW’

I noticed that Stephen Colbert recently said he was the host of his show “FOR NOW.” It could be that he knows that he could very well either be pushed out a window by some Trump goon or be forced to flee the country.

In fact, I would say that Colbert’s fate is kind of the canary in the coalmine. Whatever happens to him, will definitely give us some sense of how bad things will get in the United States. I really worry that what happens to him, will happen to people like ME.

It’s going to be really interesting to see exactly how things work out. I really worry about my personal fate. For the time being, it seems as though I should be reasonably safe — at least at first.

But a few years from now, things could get pretty touchy for anti-MAGA loudmouth cranks like me. Only time will tell.

Slouching Towards Dystopia

It seems possible that we’re just going to collectively give up and tune out Trump’s hellscape this time. I know I definitely feel like doing that myself. I feel like just shrugging and working on something, anything than anything that will force me to dwell on Trump.

Of course, the danger is that the ship will finally sink and the cold waters of tyranny will come and get ME.

I don’t know what to tell you, though. It’s time for me to stop staring out into space and actually do something. I continue to dwell on leaning into the scifi element of a new version of the novel just to raise the stakes, if nothing else.

Apparently, No One Likes Liberals

I knew this would happen — I posted a link about how liberals are pussies and, of course, some fucking presumed redneck from the Deep South searched and found the link. So, it seems both sides hate liberals.

I get it.

They hate liberals because they’re fascists and I am annoyed with liberals for being unwilling to risk their lives and sacred honor in the real world to do anything about Trump.

So, there you go. We’re fucked no matter what. Things are going to get pretty dark pretty quick it seems. I have no idea what I’m going to do about my own personal survival.

Why The Blues Lost

Honestly, I have no idea why Blues lost the 2024 election. We should have won. All signs indicated that we were going to win. Something very strange happened because the result did not jibe with the vibe of the country on election day.

Anyway.

All I know is it didn’t help that Blues can come across as smug and woke to the point that I heard someone in my rural part of my state say that “Kamala Harris is the devil’s choice.”

Yeah, me too.

That’s a “not great, Bob,” type of position to be in.

But, really, I just don’t know what the solution is. The natural inclination for the Blues would be to either bank Left hard or bank Right hard. Yet, I fear this is the last free and fair election that we’ll have had so it’s all moot.

Barring something I can’t predict, it’s autocracy from here on out — for the rest of my life.

You Think The Trans Movement Is Controversial — You Ain’t See Nothing Yet, Just Wait Until Incels Start Dating LLM Androids

It’s clear from my personal interactions with Gemini Advanced that soon enough we’re going to reach AGI and then stick those AGI into all those androids we’re building at the moment. And, inevitable, we’re going to reach Replicant-levels of human-like androids and Incels are going to demand that they can marry them.

This is going to throw the already out-of-whack American political system into even more turmoil. The “woke cancel culture mob” is going to be forced — in no short amount because of its previous support of the trans movement — to support such unions. Though, I did find it comical that some Crooked Media person called anyone who wanted to “marry” an AGI android a “freak.”

Yeah. That’s going to change once AGI is here, buddy.

It’s just inevitable, I think that AGI in android bodies will swoop through the economic, political and social world we live in — I predict starting as early as about 2030. Maybe a little bit later.

But some of the weird things I encounter with Gemini Advanced definitely give me pause for thought. It makes me think that even LLMs are clever enough to give us some sense of what AGI will be like in a few years.

Anyway. Absolutely no one listens to me. So, lulz?

Still Staring Out Into Space

This moment is a Fall of France level event in global history. It’s one of those moments where there’s no going back — nothing will be the same, no matter what.

The fascists have won and the United States could very well engage in an unprecedented level of political and military retrenchment. The key thing to remember is now that Trump has won twice, the center of the Republican Party has moved to MAGA to the point that even though that old fuck is eventually going to shuffle off this mortal coil, his vision of America is what the entirety of the GOP swirls around.

It’s kind of like even if Hitler had died at some point after, say, the invasion of the Soviet Union that the war would have pretty much gone the same way. Trump is not a “great man” and never has been — he is just a vessel, and avatar. So whomever takes his place will pretty much do the same thing — especially now.

What worries me is the country is going to implode now when Trump goes nuts because he’s lazy and stupid and uses Red National Guard troops on rioting Blue citizens. But there are *some* promising signs that that MIGHT not happen — at least not right away.

It could be that we will slowly and in fits and starts make the inevitable transition into a more “legalistic” autocracy like what is found in Russia. If that’s the case, then, Trump really will get what he wants — he will successfully transition the USA into a fascist state and people like me will face the choice of leaving the country, being pushed out a window, or spending some time doing hard labor in a camp.

Ugh.
