Again and again, I listen to a liberal podcast where they all swirl around the obvious dire nature of America’s fate without addressing it. America is fucked and we have the existential choice of picking autocracy, civil war or military junta in late 2024, early 2025.
The reason why they do this, of course, is the whole thing is abstract and yet so alarming that it’s difficult for Very Serious People with blue checks next to their names on Twitter to talk about because they don’t want to scare people. I — and other “hysterical” people — could be wrong, after all.
So, what I think is going to happen is the center-Left will be sucker punched and, lulz, that it. We’re probably turn into an autocracy without any struggle at all. That will be that and Twitter liberals will all produce their podcasts in the south of France while drinking white Russians.
Or, put another way — we’re past the event horizon. Something really bad is going to happen to the United States politically in late 2024, early 2025 and because Blue Check liberals don’t have the gumption to give the average person a heads up, we’re probably just going to wake up on day in 2045 and wonder why President DeSantis is invading Canada.
YMMV, of course. And there is — as always — the possibility that Trump, unto himself, could start a civil war simply because he’s a lazy, idiotic moron.
