Short answer: I dunno.
Long answer: In theory, it’s my impression the Queen pretty much has absolute power, but because of tradition and the British temperament, she effectively has very little.
Also, Prince Charles is (apparently) known to be a much more activist monarch than his mother and so…I dunno. From an American point of view, it would make a lot of sense for the Queen to use your powers to make an “executive” decision on the matter — preferably to stay in the EU for the time being — until things get sorted out, if they ever do.
But given that the UK is just about evenly divided between Leave and Remain, I honestly can’t tell you what might — or might not — happen. All I do know is that if No Deal Brexit happens within just a few weeks of a damaging Mueller Report…well….Trump will be in something of a sticky wicket, now won’t he?
